Rights To "Mr. Integrity" Catholic Con Artist Story Up For Grabs: Author Seeks New Publisher for Bizarre Tale of Fraud, Lies, and Harley Videotapes

CARLSBAD, CA June 10, 2004 -- Author Wendy Quirk plans to sell the rights to her controversial book, Mr. Integrity: 21 Months with a Catholic Con Man. The book details a plot of deceit, lies, videotape, fraud, and betrayal involving a con man and aspiring comedian from the North County San Diego area.

"What's so intriguing about this story was his sudden, real-life marriage to a Fortune-500 heiress who's family name is renown and respected worldwide," Quirk says.

The story tells how this man used the pretense of piousness and his quick-witted humor to gain trust, and segue into cheating hundreds with his Harley video scam. "Even with a court history showing years of fraudulent behavior, he still walks the streets and remains elusive to the law," Quirk declared.

The book contains numerous, specific details about the con man's shady activities while running the phony filming company, and leaves little question as to the validity of the story, despite the fiction disclaimer it contains. It also offers red-flag warning signals for spotting these types of con artists who choose and use their "significant other" strictly for financial gain.

"I pity his wife because she still doesn't appear to see the real truth about this man and will probably loose everything if she stays with him," says Quirk.

Originally published by Authorhouse, Wendy Quirk still owns the copyright. "Con artists are always a subject of interest and intrigue, and this is considered by many to be California's own version of ‘Catch Me if You Can.' His astonishing behavior continues on - I could easily add on a couple more chapters of equally disturbing information," she added.

Mr. Integrity: 21 Months with a Catholic Con Man is posted on Rosedog.com (a web site promoting writers), and is available at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, and the publisher's site at Mrintegrity.com. Interested parties can contact Wendy Quirk at 760-434-9191.
